How to find us
Lake Road Chapel (postcode CA12 5BS) is diagonally opposite the outdoors shop, George Fisher, in the upper end of Lake Road, just a 1 minute walk from the Tourist Information Office in the Market Square.
Please note: There is no vehicular access to, or parking at, the Chapel.
There are parking spaces along Borrowdale Road (postcode CA12 5DE), 200 yards south of the chapel. If you park there you will need a parking disc, available from many shops in the town, or before you come by emailing car.parks@allerdale.gov.uk. Other parking discs will suffice.
Borrowdale Road is accessible only via Derwent Street. If all the parking spaces are full, then drive to the top of the road and turn right at the roundabout to go to the nearest car park, Central Car Park, Heads Road, Keswick, CA12 5DF. Please remember to pay before you leave the car park!
Leave the car park at the end you came in, walking through a gap between the buildings on the opposite side of the park to Heads Road and up a gentle slope into Lake Road. Turn right and the chapel is about 50 yards along on your left.
Our chapel is wheelchair friendly and has a hearing loop system.
